A GOOD DAY OFF

Youngblood
Today we put away the last of the fencing from the trees which we have been unwrapping all week. We also reset the foot bridges and crossed the creek to free the Himalayan pines.  They look much happier.
Planting chili peppers
In the garden, we planted some chili peppers in bed 4.  We are super excited to be starting on our chili bed.  We are still enjoying last year's chilies!

In bed 3 we planted six eggplant starts and three basil plants.  We also put the hoops and plastic up over those beds since the weather forecast looks unstable and we might get a frost.  The beds will stay covered but open on the ends till we either need to close them up to protect from frost or think it's safe to pull the covers for the season.
