| Apricot blossoms |
I love this time of year down here! There are buckets of snow still in Mammoth, with more predicted. Here it is truly spring. The orchard is busting with blooms, the trees and shrubs all have buds which will soon be leaves. The redbuds have the tiniest of redbuds on them already. Joy, the almond tree is beautiful. The apricot trees are particularly spectacular and smell heady.

The raspberries are sprouting and the daffodils are going nuts. It is just amazing right now. Every day the new growth is measurable.

And finally, the sugar snap peas which we planted just over two weeks ago have sprouted. Life is good.
