DON'T PLANT UNTIL THE SNOW IS GONE FROM THE WHITE MOUNTAINS!

The White Mountains Today
So, it's a good thing we don't follow that adage.......  With the recent cool temperatures and heavy rains, we have LOTS of snow on the White Mountains at the moment.  Fortunately, we also have more baby tomatoes on the vine!  Today we discovered that Nyagus and Sun Gold have set fruit!

We ended up having to run into town this afternoon after work so instead of cycling and/or gardening....we went to Burger Barn......

We also went to Chuck and Marge's to check out his garden.  His tomatoes are super green and super stout.  I think he must be feeding them steroids!  Jim wants to try his strategy for growing a few next year (on lines instead of in cages).   His onions are also much bigger.  I am beginning to think we planted ours too deeply.  I'll have to read up on onions.

After dinner and a garden tour, we took Xena for a walk up canyon!  Not a bad Monday afternoon after working!
