A DAY OF GROOMING!

Garden Overview
Today we took care of some little things.  We harvested some veggies (always a treat) had some inside chores and weeded and groomed the front ditch.  Jim had been trying to talk me into cutting back the vegetation along the ditch and I had been very reluctant because I really like the wild look of the long grasses.  I have to admit, the ditch with the cutback vegetation is nice.  We can see the flow and hear it much better.  It is a bit manicured but I think there is a happy medium to be found here.
Beans growing where they are told!

More yummy beets!

The newly groomed ditch

And of course, another garden fresh dinner

A good harvest of beans.   Grilled salmon w/ red & green beans, roast beets and sauteed beet greens!
