The row of trees!
So this past week we planted a dozen trees.  We planted an Arkansas Black Apple and a Kadota white fig in the orchard (both purchased a couple of weeks ago).  We planted another aspen along the front ditch.  We also planted an Oklahoma redbud, a Texas redbud, our two flowering plums which Tammy gave us and we have nurtured from tiny little things and transplanted once.  Also 5 red twig dogwoods (which are technically shrubs but still required tree-sized holes).

Planting trees is dirty work!!

We also bought a candied weeping crabapple and are still deciding where it will go.  We are still suffering from all the pickaxing, digging and trenching required to get these in the ground and irrigated!  But we love the new look!

Wine and cheese and crackers while admiring our hard days work!

And the garden is still looking good.  Everything is growing and producing so well!
