HARVESTING FOR FRIENDS!

Abundant Chile bed
The weather is changing a bit as the days are getting shorter and the garden is beginning to put out in abundance!  It is so exciting to see such a wealth of veggies.  We are really pleased with this first experimental year!  I typically find fall with the shorter days a bit depressing... winter is coming, lots of cold short days and long dark nights.... However, down here, winters are shorter and the Fall harvest is so exciting!

The most fun is that we have been able to harvest for friends.  We cannot believe how much more fun this is!  We have been putting together boxes and bags of goodies to deliver to friends and coworkers and perhaps the most fun is hearing back from people what they have done with the produce.  We have been getting new ideas and recipes and really loving this!

This one might be my favorite photo yet this year!  Jim was harvesting peppers when he encountered this guy on guard!
