| Arkansas Black Apple Yesterday we planted an Arkansas Black apple and a Kadota white fig. We bought these about 10 days ago and are finally getting them in the ground!  Kadota White Fig We also dug holes for our two flowering plum trees which we got over a year ago from Tammy and have been nurturing along, as well as one for the Oklahoma Redbud which I bought the same weekend as the fig. We did not finish planting these last three as it got too dark to see. Tomorrow we'll get back on that. I missed planting trees! I figure we have planted between 20 and 30 trees since moving here. I guess that makes up for the four we had to remove! That is a lot of digging in rocky hard "soil!" |
