NEW BUGS

Friday night while giving a garden tour we noticed a new infestation of tiny grey bugs on the underside of the new bean plants (Yard long red pole beans).  We will hit them with Neem oil today and hope for the best.

It turns out these are Boxelder beetles and they are migrating through.  They are not supposed to be garden pests (aka no damage to plants) but they are very abundant and a bit creepy.  Things are growing great! We just got back from our 3-day fundraising bike ride and oddly both missed the garden a lot!  Looking forward to getting back into it!
