| Aphid infestation on Arkansas Black Apple |
Today, while I was at work, Jim had a most productive day off in the garden! He found an infestation of black aphids on Arkansas black and Nancy! Handily, he immediatelyk sprayed with Neem & Horticultural Oil. We'll have to stay on top of blasting these with the hose.
He also planted our chiles and eggplant in the veggie garden. Then he planted strawberries in the front flower bed.

| Gopher Snake |
While he was weeding and trimming the ditch in front of the house and saw a six foot long gopher snake! I hope he's munching on those nasty voles out there! Who'd have thought we'd be thrilled to have a six foot long snake living in our front yard?
