THANKSGIVING EVE AND IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

Got the Christmas lights up just in time for the first snow!
Jim hung the Christmas lights this morning.  Just in the nick of time!  We are early this year. Thanksgiving is tomorrow but we had a spare moment and wanted to cheer up this COLD weather we are having.  It is supposed to get into the teens tonight but I doubt it will be that cold (hope it won't be).  It was forecast to be in the mid 20s last night and the coldest we saw was 36.
First Snow!
I couldn't believe it when I heard it was snowing outside!  Fortunately it was brief... it is already a chilly 36 degrees out!
It's beginning to look a lot like Chirstmas!
Hard to believe we can harvest fresh veggies the day before Thanksgiving (and then get snow).  I harvested a lovely carrot and lots of fresh greens, added some home grown tomatoes and made a great salad to go with the homemade split pea soup (enhanced with carrots, and onions from the garden)!
Fresh lettuce (4 types) and fresh carrot for salad!

Thanksgiving eve dinner:  split pea soup made with garden veggies and freshly harvest salad!
