HARVESTING

Cherokee carbon
It's pretty exciting to come home and harvest after work.  The tomatoes and peppers are starting to really produce.  Some of the tomatoes have blossom end rot.  Mostly just the ones on the east (specifically north east) side of bed 1.  I've been asking around and reading up and I'm thinking it's mostly due to the crazy weather.  We will look for organic treatments.  I am pretty sure we are not over watering.
Blossom end rot
This looks a lot like salsa.  I think we will be having burritos for dinner tonight.
Early harvest
It is time to harvest onions.  They have been lying down for a while now.  We decided to harvest most of them, leaving behind the ones which look like they might still grow a bit.  We are so happy with our onions this year.  We worked the soil to keep it loose and fed them several times.  It seems to be paying off.
It's a whopper!
