HARVESTING GARLIC

Harvesting garlic
Hanging the garlic to dry
Today we harvested all of our garlic.  It looks pretty good.  We hung it up in the garage to dry for a few days before we trim and clean it.
Chard harvest under the arbor
We finally finished tackling bed number 8.  Wharvested all the Swiss chard and composted the unusable portions.  We now have a lot of chard.  Good thing we know a few people who love chard.  I tied up and tucked under the grape vines again.  The arbor is starting to look just fine.

Lots of chard (round 2)
I have to confess... on our trip to Carson City this week, I bought three more trees.  We are wanting to landscape the area above the garden bed.  I think these three blue point junipers will look great up there by the rock.
