Yesterday I got a few hour break from work so I came home and dug out the "purple" plum trees and put them in nursery pots. I dug the holes bigger and set the new purple pony plums in their pots in place to see what they looked like. Today after work we finished planting the new trees and fed and pruned them just a bit. I love them! It is nice to finally see this splash of color where I've been envisioning it. I know where we will plant one of the removed green flowering plums (up in the extended chicken yard) but not sure about the second one yet.
Our tomato is growing and we also found the first chili peppers on the vine.
