| Relocated and tumbled compost |
Yesterday we moved the new composter into place and this afternoon I dumped the contents of the compost ball into one bin and started anew in the other bin. It spins really well and looks so much better after mixing it thoroughly. This was the biggest challenge with the ball. It was difficult to roll and to mix.

| Turning the compost |
I was also, finally, able to finish turning over bed number two. This involved smashing dozens and dozens of grubs. It is pretty disgusting and feels a bit like a losing battle but we do what we can. Still looking forward to having chickens to help with this task!
