So this afternoon after work but before going over to our neighbors for dinner, we walked through the garden. We noticed that our Santa Fe Grande chili plant was leaning and needed to be staked up. While doing this we found our first horn worm! It is the smallest one we've seen yet (smaller than my pinkie.
Went back out after dark with the black light flashlight and found four more hornworms on the chili plants! One was tiny! I suspect we still missed some. We did not see any on the tomato plants yet.
And so it begins!!!
