This evening we finally pulled all the arugula. It had all bolted and is very spicy! Still tasty but getting old and woody. We pulled it all and cleaned a lot and bagged it up to give away tomorrow. It is definitely easier to deal with if we just clip it when it's young. We will also try shade cloth on the next batch of lettuce and arugula. Might even put some up on the lettuce growing now.
We also pulled all the sugar snap peas. We had an okay harvest/production, however none made it into the house. We just ate them in the garden as we pulled them. They were a bit curly and malformed, again, I think due to too much sun and heat. We need to plant them earlier and perhaps use shade cloth next year.

Finally we pulled all of our radishes... we waited too long on those. Got some great ones a few weeks ago but they bolted too and got tough. Live and learn! I am still suffering from the Mammoth Lakes gardening syndrome where I feel the need to worship, rather than harvest anything because it was always so rare to actually grow anything to the point at which it was harvestable! We are learning slowly.... thing GROW down here!On a brighter note, we planted more radishes in the lettuce bed (where the arugula was) and also planted some Red Noodle pole beans where the sugar snap peas were!
We also have chile peppers growing now, our Anaheim chile is almost ready to harvest.

We have two ears of corn on one stalk but none anywhere else as of yet.The squash is fabulous. Fingers crossed we will have a good crop of winter squash!
